The Pain Relief Diet | Holistic Chiropractor for Wellness in Woodstock, GA

What is a Pain Relief Diet?
People constantly come up to me and they say, you know, what’s a good pain relief diet? How can I get rid of my pain through food? And that’s kind of a tricky question. Because although there are certain situations where if you’re eating a very inflammatory diet, one that’s you know, high in Omega sixes, these are fatty acids that can cause inflammation, or a lot of processed foods, a lot of sugars and things like that, that can cause a lot of inflammation in the body. But in most cases, that alone may not be the main cause. So if your nervous system is not balanced, if your brain is not sending the proper signals to the rest of your body, then there’s organs, glands and muscles that are not functioning properly, and then there begins to get, you get inflammation, you get Mal adaption, you have things starting to not work properly. And that situation can put you right on the cusp, where a poor diet can inflame further an area that’s already inflamed.
The Importance of Having Balance Within the Body
So it’s important to get your spine balance, and to be able to make sure that the communication between the brain and the rest of the body is where it should be because I’ve had many cases where people come in with certain food allergies or food intolerances. And those things disappear after being under care. So was it the food that was causing the problem? Or was it the fact that you did not have a properly functioning nervous system because there was not proper communication between the brain and the body, instead of a flow a firehose of healing energy and communication coming from the brain to the body, it was choked off, and it was just a trickle. So in a lot of cases, that’s what I found. But there are foods that are considered inflammatory, like I said, processed foods, sugar, things that are high in Omega sixes, you want to go the opposite direction, then, what’s the opposite of a very high sugar diet? Well, you want to go with a lower sugar guy, you can go with natural sugar, it’s like it was in fruits. Even honey nightguard good, raw honey is great.
You can go with there’s certain herbs and things that are supposedly good for inflammation Tumeric curcumin, things like that are supposed to be great omega threes, fish oils, vitamin A and D and a good cod liver oil supplement will actually absolutely help reduce inflammation in the body. Processed foods, again, a lot of the chemicals in there can cause inflammation. Again, if your body is imbalanced, it will make it worse.
Avoid Processed Foods for Better Health and Less Pain
So instead of going with process packaged foods, go with whole foods, even if you want to get nitpicky, and I’m a proponent of this going with grass fed meats versus grain fed meats, grain fed meats, you’re getting the grains, you’re getting the inflammation from that and you’re eating it. Grass fed, you’re getting all the good things with the grass grass fed butters have the same way. pasture raised eggs with nice deep orange yolks versus traditional eggs with a yolks array a pasty yellow, you’re not really getting all of the nutrients, all of the anti inflammatory nutrients that your body needs and craves. Because you’re building everything you put in your body then uses so you could build a body on pizza and bonbons. But is it going to be a strong healthy body? Or is it going to be you’re using kind of subpar materials to maintain your health so it can only do so much a human body is amazing and what it can do the fact that you can grow up and still function and still feel fairly good on an ice cream and pizza diet are a fast food burger diet, but you’re not going to be truly healthy.
If you want to be healthy, reduce inflammation, you want to go more towards a Whole Foods and if you’re going to supplement again, a good cod liver oil, omega threes to America cumin, cinnamon, things like that are excellent to help in the anti inflammation. So just a quick touch on that. I just wanted to share that with you.
