The Best Diet for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome | Chiropractor in Woodstock, GA
Hey everybody, Dr. John D’Ambrosio here from the Center for life enhancement in Woodstock, Georgia. I want to talk a little bit about the best diet for chronic fatigue syndrome because I get a lot of questions about this. There’s no real clear cut answer. A healthy diet is always important regardless of if you’re suffering with something or not. You want to eat whole foods, you want to eat organic foods, possibly even watch what you want to drink. Supplement as needed. Remember, a supplement is just that and it’s there to supplement your diet, it is not there to act as a food source. It’s to supplement to help you in deficiencies to help make up for those. So for chronic fatigue, you want to avoid foods that are inflammatory. High sugar, high seed oil diets, high processed foods, those things could cause flare ups in chronic fatigue. There’s certain supplements, but I’m not going to go into a list of supplements today. There’s plenty of information out there on the internet and then I would run it by somebody professional, because supplements that may work for one person may not be necessary for another. It’s the same thing with foods. I can eat peanuts, somebody else could die from eating a peanut. So I’m not going to make recommendations on supplements, go to a specialist for that. A nice clean diet with clean water and whole foods. That’s the way to go to help give your body the best base to be able to fight chronic fatigue and give you just good overall nutrition.
I hope that was helpful. Contact our office for more information!
