A Chiropractor for High Blood Pressure | Zone Technique Chiropractor in Woodstock, GA
Hey everybody, Dr. John D’Ambrosio here from the Center for Life Enhancement in Woodstock, Georgia. Today I’m going to talk about some of the most common problems people usually come in with… circulation. You think that’s an odd situation for chiropractors to help with circulation? Well it’s not at all uncommon for people to come in with either high blood pressure or low blood pressure. It’s more normalized to see a chiropractor for high blood pressure care.
Chiropractic Care vs Blood Pressure
There’s actually a lot of studies out there that show evidence of this and it’s funny because the studies that made the news, eliminate half of what was discovered. So they said High Blood Pressure normalizes under chiropractic care, what they didn’t talk about is they’re also people with low blood pressure, who after going under chiropractic care, their blood pressure went up to normal. So what does this mean? Is there a specific blood pressure adjustment for chiropractic? Well, absolutely not, but what chiropractic does is it helps normalize the body and allows it to function the way it’s supposed to function. So in many cases, high blood pressure normalizes and falls within that range, and low blood blood pressure, on the same note, can raise and go within that normal range. That range is very wide. It’s actually changed over time when I was going to school. Normal was 140, over 90, that number has been lowered again over time, so we’re just looking for an average, not a normal. Blood pressure absolutely can change and does change under chiropractic care, and that’s probably one of the most common circulatory issues that I see in my office.
